Sunnydale Residence

Anchored in classical symmetry and refined proportion, the Strangvale Residence is a meticulous Georgian-style renovation that reinterprets historical elegance through contemporary craftsmanship. Defined by its brick façade, slate roofing, and grand entry sequence, the residence establishes a stately presence, embodying timeless sophisticationwithin a modernized architectural framework.

A hand-laid red brick exterior, accented with contrasting mortar joints, reinforces the geometric clarity of the Georgian aesthetic, while its articulated cornices and dentil molding introduce layers of refinement. The roofing is clad in natural slate, a material celebrated for its enduring patina and durability, lending both historical authenticity and permanence to the composition. The symmetrical façade is punctuated by black metal-framed windows, balancing the material solidity with delicate fenestration that introduces rhythm and lightness.

A prominent columned portico, rendered in smooth limestone, frames the central entryway, its classical detailing enhancing the home's processional grandeur. Above, a central walkout balcony extends from the primary suite, its wrought-iron railing delicately poised above the entrance, reinforcing the hierarchical axiality of the design while providing a private threshold to the outdoors. The rear elevation continues the architectural narrative, where a series of French doors open onto a formal garden terrace, seamlessly blending the interior and exterior realms.

Rooted in architectural heritage yet designed for modern living, the Strangvale Residence preserves the rich language of Georgian architecture while embracing contemporary spatial fluidity, creating a residence that is both enduring and evocative.
