OAA, AAA, MRAIC, A.AIA, CET, LEED
John Romanov commenced the practice of architecture in Montreal in 1977 after graduating from the McGill School of Architecture. Subsequently, he progressed with his career in Calgary in 1980. In 1984, he returned east to Toronto and in 1986 he founded the firm of Romanov Romanov Architects Incorporated.
As the President of the firm, John has personally directed the design and implementation of a variety of residential, commercial, industrial, assembly and recreational projects. The broad range and scope of the projects for which the firm has been commissioned is a testimony to John's design and administrative skills.
The philosophy employed by Romanov Romanov Architects Incorporated, and exemplified in John's work, is to identify the specific requirements of the Client and to satisfy these in the most meaningful and expeditious manner. This entails a most detailed approach to design, a thorough investigation of all by-laws and code requirements and the rigorous testing of all proposals to cost constraints.
